CPLA and Lake Stewards of Maine are hosting an invasive plant paddle on Chemo Pond August 17, 2019 at 1 pm, located at Crossroads Christian Camp, 33 Baldy Rd. Bradley. This is FREE to all participants.
The class will last about 3 hours. We will spend about 1 hour on land training to learn how to identify plants and how to single out potentially invasive plants. All participants will receive a guide to identify invasive plants. During the second hour we will go out on the lake to collect specimens and the last hour will be to identify what we have found. If you have a boat to use that is great if not we can find space for you in someone else’s boat. We prefer non-motorized shallow drafting boats like canoes, kayaks.
