In 1929 the roll dam was built on Blackman Stream approximately ½ mile upstream from the current location of Leonard’s Mill. This week we just had our fourth of July parade. We had a great turn out. Boats were lined up from one end of the lake until the other. Folks on their front porches came out to salute and wave the flag. It was a great day for all!
